@peemee
I’ve noticed this with both the iPod Touch and the iPhone SE: in iOS 11 when they’re on external power, touch screen response becomes haphazard at best. Unplug and there’s no trouble.
@evefavretto
@peemee crappy power adapter, crappy cable, crappy grounding or your electric supply is crappy and noisy.
@evefavretto I’d suspect the supply. Everything else tests OK.
@jws
@peemee Weird. No such issue with 6 or 6 Plus.
@evefavretto
@peemee is your adapter from a good brand? Isn't it maybe fryed?
@peemee
@evefavretto The brand is reputable. You may have heard of them. Apple.
@evefavretto
@peemee hahaha. I mean, is it a genuine one? Also, who knows if it isn't defective. Have you tried it on other sockets?
@peemee
@evefavretto It came with the iPhone. Electrical safety tests show it to be OK. Such testing is required to use at certain premises.
@evefavretto
@peemee ah. Try grounding yourself to se if the touch issues go away. Or try just touch the adapter while using the phone.
