@Andrew
On a lighter note.

Those of you that drink their coffee black with no sugar, what are your favourites?
@jws
@Andrew Light roasts. Partial to Ethiopian coffees. Especially if I can get ones from a region where it tastes strongly of blueberries.
@Andrew
@jws noted, thanks, added to tomorrow's shopping list.
@peemee
@Andrew Hot
@jws
@Andrew Roaster and region both really matter for coffee. I find coffee I like by getting a pour over in a coffee shop and noting the roaster and region. Then I can hunt it down for myself.
@Andrew
@jws Trying this one today. #coffee
@jws
@Andrew Sounds promising! Share a snap of the beans?

Oh, also, I find a lot of people don't use enough coffee. I use like 20 g for a single cup or 80 g for a whole pot. Got there over time by tasting while playing with amount and same brewing method.

@Andrew Those look pretty good! Yum. :)
@Andrew
@jws The Ethiopian bean was a big improvement. Trying a Guatemala today.
@jws
@Andrew Yum chocolate.
@Andrew
@jws not a fancy one but it is a 'burr' grinder :)
So much quicker.

@peemee
@Andrew Form vs function when trying out new methods: I'd go with function initially.
@jws
@Andrew The burr's what matters. I have a hand-crank burr grinder for traveling - that's about as not-fancy as they come! @peemee @prometheus @blumenkraft
@blumenkraft
@Andrew yey, good grinding!! \o/
// @peemee @prometheus @jws
@jws Likewise: my Porlex Mini hand-cranked ceramic conical burr grinder fits inside the AeroPress when I travel. Contains enough coffee for two standard cups. @Andrew @blumenkraft @prometheus
