@unixb0y In that case I would say don't use Lorem Ipsum or anything that looks "replacable" anymore, *slightly* change the stuff to make it obvious that it's just help text.
@ericd
@unixb0y A day.
@ericd
@unixb0y I see.
@ericd
@unixb0y They do, I've used it once. // What's the problem with having placeholder text in settings? I don't understand.
@ericd
@unixb0y no, wut, the same reason again?! this is absurd

Arachis approved! Turn dark mode on and off on 10.3 to see the new feature! :)
@ericd
@rafaelcosta Me too. I wanted to give them my last review time but didn't want to use T for that, so I'm stuck
@ericd
@rafaelcosta they still mention ADN on their site, so probably not :p
@ericd
@ipod Good luck!

@peemee @hisaac There's the option to have deleted posts in the timeline because the user may want to access a discussion thread from a deleted post, even if the post content itself is not available anymore. :)
@sandrineandro

@formfireglass ...as long as you're not back to the top, where it starts polling again. I will probably try to add an option for some sort of "manual" mode in a future version.
@ericd
@formfireglass When unchecked it should leave you alone for browsing the timeline and simply display a tiny arrow icon next to the Global button when it downloads new posts - and it should download them only once then stop polling for new posts...
@ericd
@unixb0y Yup, Cocoa and Cocoa-Touch. And most of the stuff for us is in AppKit for macOS and UIKit for iOS
@ericd
@unixb0y ah sorry, I used it as an expression for "genuine", "the original", in this post I was talking about Cocoa's powerful text edition features
